Guitar lovers, although I have never heard of this Ken Steiger before, this could be one instrumental album to fall in love with. First of all, Ken can play shred-guitar like the best out there, but what’s more: he’s surrounded by some of the best players you could think of. On most of the tracks our friend is supported by no one else than Derek Sherinian (keyboards), Tony Franklin (fretless bass) and Virgil Donati (drums), which surely raises the quality of this album to a higher level.
To be honest, this is not the kind of album I was personally waiting for, but if you’re in the mood for some ‘instra-metal guitar’ (that’s how Steiger calls his own album), then you can certainly take this album into consideration. (
