By now we all know what we can/may expect from another Jorn solo album, don’t we? Everything the man with the powerful voice has done in the past is here again, repackaged as old wine in new bottles. Call it recycling or whatever you want, but this is what Jorn Lande stands for and as such he can very much be compared to Axel Rudi Pell, who also keeps releasing albums the same (good) stuff time and again. Anyway, “Bring Heavy Rock To The Land” brings us another 11 tracks that hold the middle between classic rock and melodic metal. Recorded with the same team of players and the same Tommy Hansen behind the control desk, Jorn knows that a winning formula doesn’t need to be changed. The fans will buy it blindfold, but the question is if others will still swallow more of the same … ( CL)

One of the best Jorn CD's in a while...I really like this one but agree the Ride The Wind cover sounds lame and out of place...Saxon's version is better IMO...but the rest of the album rocks.

I like this album alot, but like Yngwie said "Ride Like the Wind" is kinda cheesy for me But the rest of the album Rocks. Jorn always sounds great and this album is no different, and the production on this album just shines in every way. “The World I See” "A Thousand Cuts" "Ride to the Guns" "My Road" "Chains Around You" Are my favorites on this album!

JORN rules...best cuts are : “My Road” “Bring Heavy Rock To The Land” “The World I See” ”Time To Be King” a cool MASTERPLAN rendition ! ”Ride To The Guns” “Live And Let Fly” “Ride Like The Wind” seems cheesy at first but finally , JORN brings another youthfulness to this song ! We are all agree to say that this album , is in the same line more or less than his past releases...But with are all agree also that JORN LANDE is one of the best singer in activity...he could sing the Estonian phone book back forward with talent...So if you like JORN this is a very recommended album anyway !*****

I would say that although the "Bring Heavy Rock To The Land" began with the best omens, continuously tiring me a bit!! The songs are repeated without offering something new or something breathtaking and made me press the fast forward button several times throughout the listening! The few moments of surprising they do not stand and unfortunately the 'ghosts' of Coverdale & Dio don't leave Jorn to acquire its own personal sound. The decision is yours!

Yeah this is another in a long line of Jorn albums that sound a lot like each other. Does this detract from the fact that this is still an album full of very good songs, sung by one of rock's best singers? Of course not. If you like Jorn's work then you will like this CD, if you got bored with his work after 'The Duke' album, then I would avoid this album. For me it's a strong release that cements Jorn's place in the top half of the metal arena.

One of THE best voice in rock/metal today! I do agree that the format here is a bit, I won't say boring at all, but a bit non-exciting. I love Jorn and when I put these tracks on personal compilation CDs for my car I love them all...separate from one another. Together, it gets a little 'non-exciting.' Great voice, though, great voice!

need to move away from this boring style. Great voice but a waste of music.

sama as elival said, always deliver goos stuff.
Elival
I don´t care if he did the same thing all over again. He is one of the best singers out there and he deliver. It sounds just like I want it to sound.
