I had my doubts about the second Tragik album, “Outlaw” (2009), but Phil Vincent strikes back with “And We All Turn To Dust”, which is surely a step in the right direction again. Gone are the heavier tracks and that annoying distorted voice and they have made way for a more classic melodic hard rock album, with ten songs ful of memorable hooks. In the biography I got with a promo of the album, Phil describes the songs as a mix of the Beatles, Boston, Dokken and Foreigner and although I won’t disagree with that, I must add that he never gets the same level as his examples. But having written that, I also have to say that I still admire this American workaholic, who has released a total of 16 albums by now: 12 solo albums, 3 albums with Tragik and 1 with Circular Logik. Samples can be found on Tragik’s MySpace website. Check them out! ( CL)

Not bad at all...Interesting Songwriting style with some unusual melodies ! The style range is very large ,from straight Rocker sometimes very Heavy to more introspective stuff...Once again interesting even is it's obviously difficult t o get a clear mental picture of this record...Should i say once again :INTERESTING****

Sort of Dokken meets RTZ. Good hooks and great guitar playing. Melodic rock is going to live on as long as quality stuff like this sticks around. Before its gone is my favorite stand out track.
