Let me come straight to the point here: each album this Spanish power / progressive metallers are throwing on the market is better than the one before. “Autumnal” is already their seventh album in the row and from start to finish I’m under the spell of their perfect mix of power and melody. Recorded under the guidance of Italian producer Luigi Stefanini, who provided the album with an excellent sound, we’re treated to a total of eleven songs and all of them are of the best quality. Among my favourites for the moment are “On The Hill Of Dreams” (a showcase for Romero’s excellent vocal pipes!), “Phantom Queen” (with Celtic influences) and “The Enchanted Forest”. What gives the album a bonus are gothic influences in some of the tracks. This is the album we’ve always been expecting from these talented Spaniards: welcome to the premiere league, guys! (CL)
