Second solo album from this Italian guitarist, known to (some of) us from progmetal band Moonlight Comedy. What makes “My Secret Diary” of interest, is the diversity of the material on offer. Influenced by life and personal emotions, Fiorletta describes this follow-up to “Parallel Worlds” (Lion Muic, 2005) as a ‘mirror of his soul’. Ten instrumental pieces pass in review – most of them clocking in at over 5 minutes – and thanks to their accessibility, I’m sure the album will find its way to a lot of guitar album lovers. Fiorletta produced the album himself and the sound is more than OK! (  CL)
