When you thought that “Terra Incognita (The Undiscovered World)” was the final album of Ian Parry’s Consortium Project, you were wrong. Four years have passed since that third CP release – rewarded with 5 out of 6 stars by colleague SL – but now the English/Dutch vocalist is back with the fourth part of his fictional concept story, this time dealing with (inevitable) issues such as global warming and mankind in the future trying to retrace its past in order to understand and prevent mistakes from ever happening again. If you want to find out more about the concept story, make sure to visit http://www.grayzone.nl/website_consortium/html .
Musically this CP IV easily fits in with the former three CP albums, albeit with some more influences from western rock as well as from eastern music (“Nowhere Fast”). More than a year was spent writing, recording, mixing and producing “Children Of Tomorrow” (with Elegy colleague Joshua Dutrieux), and the result is (once again) stunning, although I admit that it ‘costed’ me several spins. Hats off to newcomer and ex-Within Temptation drummer Ivar de Graaf, who’s not only an excellent skinsman, but turns out to be a good co-writer for Parry/Dutrieux as well.
If you liked Ian Parry’s former Consortium Project albums, I’m sure you’ll like the new one as well. It might not be the easiest one to listen to, but with each spin more and more will be revealed. (CL)

Takes a while but when you start to see what the band have tried to do with this cd , it's then the music really start's to work . Not as instant as the other Consortium album's but still very rewarding in it's own way .

Well....good revieuw. I only can't get into this one as the previous 3 releases which were really awesone.
This one is a bit "boring". It could need some more spins in my player but untill now I can't say my expectations are met.....
