Lacuna Coil announce DVD details
Italian gothmetal icons Lacuna Coil have announced the title and details of their first-ever DVD release, “Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul)”. The double DVD, which is a celebration of all things from the band's “Karmacode” album and subsequent touring cycle will be released in early November 2008, and will include remixed and remastered live performances recorded in 2007 at
the Loudpark Festival (Japan) and Wacken Festival (Germany), the band member's individual personal mini-movie features, all of the promo videos from the “Karmacode” album, behind-the-scenes tour features filmed around the world, 10 competition winning fan-created videos, a link and key to the band's new album preview website plus lots more! A limited edition 4-disc package will include a 5.1 mix of the “Karmacode” album on audio DVD and a bonus CD with the Wacken Open Air audio live material.

Shadowman – Ghost In The Mirror
It has been four years since the debut album, “Land Of The Living”, by Shadowman was released. The album was warmly received by all who had a penchant for good old British melodic hard rock. As you would expect, Shadowman had elements of both Heartland and FM deeply embedded in its grooves, yet it was highly original and was often touted as the best British melodic release of 2004.
Two years later, in 2006, and we have an eagerly awaited follow-up, called “Different Angles”, an important album for this quartet that also includes both Harry James and Chris Childs of Thunder. A few chords into the song “Learn To Live Without You” and it is fairly obvious that we are in for a real treat. That unmistakable guitar trademark sound of Steve Morris and the vocals of Steve Overland shine through at a very early stage. Somehow they make their music sound effortless; the driving riff throughout “In The Shadows” is testament to this making it such a classic song.
As we all very well know, Steve Overland has a remarkable vocal range, not only does it suit the classic melodic rock genre, but he has a very bluesy side to his talent as well. His very recent release “Overland” is causing quite a stir across the world, and he is very much in the limelight at the moment.
But back to Shadowman now: a band that is all about great rock music that will win you over with charm. Quality rock music is so hard to find these days and it is reassuring to know that it hasn’t lost its way. It is always hard to follow on from a near perfect album like “Land Of The Living”, but these guys did it with “Different Angles” and here we are again, two years on with a perfect release in the shape of “Ghost In The Mirror”. What this releases gives us is an extension of the band’s already established sound, with some clever twists. Check out the opener “No Man’s Land” with its warm vibe and effortless guitar work. There are no fillers on this CD, songs like “Road To Nowhere”, Fire And Ice” and “Keeper Of My Heart” are all winners from start to finish. Undoubtedly their finest release to date “Ghost In The Mirror” will be eagerly awaited until its release later this year. A contender for best release of 2008!

Lizhard are proud to annouce that Perris Records signs their self-titled album, "Lizhard". A wordwide release is foreseen for October 7.

Lizhard arrange their songs trying to preserve the sounds and the warmth of 80s and 90s classic hard rock. In June 2008 they finished the recordings of their new self-titled album. During the first months of 2008 they opened for former Mr. Big singer Eric Martin and Twin Dragons, getting great feedback from the audience and critics. The album has been co-produced, mixed and mastered by Alessandro Del Vecchio, a musician known worldwide for his collaborations with acts like Edge Of Forever, Moonstone Project, Glenn Hughes, Ian Paice, Jeff Scott Soto and Axe. Lizhard band members are: Luke Marsilio (vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica), Paul Mainetti (guitar), Luca "Ze" Moroni (bass) and Ricky Lecchini (drums).

Duff McKagan's Loaded signs worldwide deal with Century Media Records
The hard rock world is about to get a nice, swift kick in the ass as the Seattle-based sonic force Duff McKagan's Loaded, led by the current Velvet Revolver bassist, has returned after a lengthy hiatus with their much anticipated, new full-length release. The quartet has signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records and a five song EP, "Wasted Heart". The new offering was recorded by Martin Feveyear (Presidents Of The USA, Kings Of Leon) and is set for an early 2009 release.
McKagan further comments: "We are truly looking forward to this partnership with Century Media. I am encouraged that they indeed understand the spirit and integrity of Duff McKagan’s Loaded.
This first EP should shed some light on who we are, what we do and how the fuck we do it!"
McKagan, having carved out a place in rock ‘n’ roll history selling millions of albums with the legendary Guns n' Roses, requires no lengthy introduction. However, with Duff McKagan's Loaded,
he gets a chance to further show his songwriting prowess and versatility assuming the role of vocalist/guitarist. This is an all out assault of pure rock and punk infused fury that pulls no punches.
