Info

This DVD was recorded live at Firefest V, Nottingham Rock City, on the 26th October 2008. Says Mitch Malloy: “This DVD is something I have been wanting to do since I was a kid. I am proud of it and am honored that you all were part of it. The fans were the real stars of this video and I insisted that they got a lot of camera time. I just wish I knew every fan’s name who was there, as you guys are the ones that I really want to thank. So just let me say thank you to all the fans who traveled great distances to see this show. Without you there is no show. And now you can see it whenever you want.

Extras
Interview (10:47)

  Plus

    Minus

- Before his enthusiastic fans, Mitch Malloy played a setlist that consisted of 9 tracks from his classic self-titled album as well as a track, “You Can’t Fool God”, from his last studio album “Faith” (2008) and a cover of “Stone Of Love” (Journey).
- A chain of great tracks, with highlights as “Stranded In The Middle Of Nowhere”, “Nobody Wins In This War” and – of course – “Anything At All”.
- Excellent musicians surrounding Mr Malloy, with a special mention for guitarist Tommy Denander!
- A great souvenir for all those who attended Firefest, but also of interest to those who weren’t there.
  - The poor quality of the only bonus: a so-called interview, in which Mitch Malloy also shows his home studio, his collection of guitars, his bike and more (yawn, yawn).
- The sudden break off of this part (which is absolutely not professional)!
- It would have been better to add some classic videos instead of this totally superfluous, so-called interview. This tarnishes an otherwise good concert!

Great sound, great show and a great reminder of a great day (sorry for all the greats but you get the picture).

The bonus stuff isn't very good but I didn't buy the DVD for that.
5 for the concert
